Get to know Brooke
Picture
Brooke is a broadcast journalist and weather forecaster at KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, California. Her path through broadcast news has taken her from the field and to the studio. Growing up on the Central Coast, taking an on-air job in her hometown after graduating from college in 2016 was a no-brainer. After covering the Central Coast for two years from the field, Brooke stepped into the studio when she was promoted to be the morning weather forecaster and fill-in anchor on the Central Coast's number one morning show "Daybreak." While she spends most of her time in the studio, she still reports for KSBY, producing content on a weekly basis.
In addition to working fulltime, Brooke is enrolled in at Mississippi State and is working towards earning her seal in meteorology. She will complete the program in 2022.

Brooke started at KSBY as a multimedia journalist covering some of the most hot button issues and natural disasters in her community. From the Sherpa, Whittier and Thomas Fires in Santa Barbara Counties, to the Montecito Mudslides in early 2018, Brooke has been on the scene. In 2018, Brooke was recognized for her coverage on the death of a mentally ill inmate at San Luis Obispo County Jail. Her thorough, investigative story received first place for feature reporting from the Associated Press Television and Radio Association.
